I am not sure how many of my two or three readers have heard the latest of what is going on in the big city of Topeka (yes, indeed, the capitol of Kansas). Yesterday, the city voted on whether homosexuals should be considered a protected class or not. The issue has been highly publicized over the past month or two, and I believe we have come leaps and bounds with the outcome of the election. More on the subject can be found here.
I could go on and on about this and other political issues, but I'm a bit tired this morning and would hate to leave you snoring in your chair. And, because everyone loves a good picture, I will experiment with placing one in my post. Here goes....
Okay, I hate to get your hopes up and then smash them to bits, but I cannot post photos (at least from work) as the hosting site is blocked. Shucks. I'll just have to try at home tonight.
Later!

what the hell is a protected class???
Well, basically it means that you cannot discrimminate against them. As it was, you technically fire someone or refuse renting a place to them on the basis of their sexual preference. This bill that passed simply adds gays and lesbians to the law that prohibits you from discrimminating against religion, color, race, etc.
i see...
I saw that on World News with Dan Rather. Wow does Topeka look like a horrible place to live.
